Casa Waslala - in Belorado - is a small guesthouse at the service only for pilgrims. We have three double rooms with two individual beds.
You can find us near the centre of the village and the Plaza Mayor in the Calle Mayor.
We can offer you the service of a room, dinner and breakfast and a combination of these. Dinner always is home made and combines European and Latin flavors. Our salads find inspiration in the works of Vincent van Gogh.
The concept of our guesthouse has been based on our own experiences as pilgrims. It is important for us to emphasize a personal entourage with full respect for privacy and rest of our guests.
The name “Casa Waslala” comes from the novel Waslala, written by the Nicaraguan author Gioconda Belli. The novel is about the voyage of a woman to a place called Waslala which is a oasis of happiness, peace and harmony.
We speak English, Spanish, German, Dutch and we have basic knowledge of French.
